WINEMAKER'S NOTES:
Timeless signature of Palmer & Co, LA RÉSERVE is a champagne of great precision, harmoniously balanced by the freshness and fullness of the great terroirs of the Montagne de Reims. A significant proportion of reserve wines contributes a rare fullness and maturity.
Citrus, pear and apricot aromas with discrete notes of hazelnut and buttery brioche. Succulent and substantial with an unfettered freshness. A model of balance and elegance.and substantial to the palate, yet with an unfettered freshness, this wine is eminently seductive: a model of perfect balance.
Previously, the wine was named Brut Reserve but has since been relabelled as La Reserve.
TASTING NOTES:
A buttery, creamy and flavorful rendition based on the 2014 vintage, showing biscuit, lemon curd, raspberry and honeycomb aromas. Very soft bubbles. Around 50% chardonnay, 40% pinot noir and 10% meunier.
