WINEMAKER'S NOTES:
Granbazán Etiqueta Verde is the flagship Albariño of the estate and is aged on fine lees to enhance its texture and aromatic complexity. It pours a luminous straw yellow and opens with striking aromas of white peach, apricot, mango, Kaffir lime, and a touch of sea spray. The palate is laser-focused and energetic, with intense tropical fruit, crisp citrus acidity, and a persistent mineral backbone. Its dry, refreshing finish makes it a textbook example of coastal Albariño at its best.
TASTING NOTES:
A classically made, entry-level white of outstanding quality, the 2024 Albariño Etiqueta Verde is light-bodied and bright, with salty airs, sharp acidity, and cool-climate character sourced from a myriad of parcels around the Val do Salnés. It has a plethora of tension, tasting of just-ripe peach and dried herb. The youngest of the producer™s whites, it sees a short maceration, a showcase of refreshingly linear focus minimalistic in approach. Drink now.
