WINEMAKER'S NOTES:

Weekends Away offers up attractive aromas and flavors of blackberry jam and candied cherry fruit. It is medium-bodied and delicious for its humble price point.  The grapes are harvested a smidge earlier to retain a balancing acidity and a tame alcohol level. Vinification takes place in stainless steel. When & Where wines are handcrafted by a family-owned certified organic winery in Riverland, Australia. This easy-drinking Cabernet is terrific for a backyard barbecue.
