WINEMAKER'S NOTES:

Cool climate Chardonnay is full of fruitful expression with a balance and versatility that brings completion to many different types of cuisine. When tasting Shady Lane Chardonnay enjoy the experience of actually tasting the beautiful fruit of this grape. The use of neutral barrel aging is to enhance the fruit and not cover it up. This fruit is grown at our beautiful Hennessy vineyard, where the warmth of the south facing slope sets the foundation for this wine. The use of Bâtonnage imparts round texture, while the respectful oak provides toasted coconut and crème brulée with fruitful notes of white peach and star fruit.
