WINEMAKER'S NOTES:
A wonderfully layered and evocative aroma profile, with blueberry compote and black cherry preserves, alongside notes of brown sugar, plum skin, and warm sweet yam. A mineral streak of crushed slate, a hint of dried rose petals, and warm enveloping notes of cigar box, fresh herbs, and a touch of graphite, round out this luxurious aroma profile. The palate is finely constructed, with a full-bodied and richly textured profile. The palate mirrors the nose with intense flavors of black cherry preserves, blueberry and plum, all on a bed of luscious and composed tannins. Mid-palate notes of charred cedar and herbs sit atop a robust acid backbone, adding depth and intrigue, and leading elegantly to a long and opulent conclusion.
TASTING NOTES:
Black currant, hints of mint, lead pencil and black cherry aromas follow through to a full body with very fine tannins and an endless finish. The texture leaves me breathless and speechless. Incredible length and depth. Hard not to drink now.

Ripe black cherries, cassis, black olive, salted meats, and smoky tobacco all shine in the 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon Ark, which is aged 32 months in 100% new French oak. It's full-bodied, has a pure, layered, graceful mouthfeel, shows classic Hundred Acre polished tannins, and delivers a great finish. It's up with the crème de la crème of the vintage, and while it's beautiful today, it will shine for at least two decades.
