WINEMAKER'S NOTES:

From the first swirl, this Petite Sirah reveals a complex mix of aromas: black raspberry, ripe plum, and cigar tobacco. The palate unfolds with layers of black cherry preserves, and vanilla, all seamlessly integrated with the influence of our Fusion barrels. The savory notes from the American oak, the spice from the Hungarian oak, and the vanilla finish from the French oak create a nuanced wine.

FOOD PAIRING: Lamb shanks braised with rosemary and garlic over polenta, an ideal match for this Petite Sirah’s robust flavors.

TASTING NOTES:

Potent, intense and tannic, this no-holds-barred red is muscular in texture, dark and brooding in flavor. Aromas of dark chocolate and espresso lead to flavors of blackberry jam and boysenberries on thick but smooth and layered tannins that bring out cocoa in the finish. Drink now or hold.
