WINEMAKER'S NOTES:
Fragrant notes of fresh oregano and herbs de Provence intermingle with ripe black cherry, boysenberry, and cookie spice. The palate is plush, velvety, and extraordinarily balanced. This comes at no surprise to us as the 2021 vintage in the Willamette Valley was exceptional through and through. Delightfully fresh flavors showcase boysenberry and black cherry, complemented by the intriguing layers of hoisin and Chinese five spice, creating a savory sweetness that lingers. The finish gracefully extends with length carried by the ripe fruits and harmonious acidity. This wine is a flawless companion to any preparation of duck, where its complexities and finesse will elevate the dining experience to new heights.
TASTING NOTES:
Fresh cherries and raspberries with hints of blue flowers, wet stones, seashells and spicy herbs. Medium-bodied, sleek and polished with lively acidity. Attractive red and blue fruit freshness with lavender and a lengthy mineral character to it. Delicious and seductive. Drink or hold.
