WINEMAKER'S NOTES:
Intense ruby red tending to garnet, it reveals an extraordinary complexity on the nose, with notes of cherries in spirits and blackberry jam, followed by hints of dried violets, dark chocolate, coffee and tobacco. It takes the palate by surprise with its balance, freshness and softness, enhanced by silky-smooth tannins.
TASTING NOTES:
Quite classic and intense, full of bay leaves, fresh black pepper, prunes and blood oranges with tamarind and licorice. Creamy on the full-bodied palate, showing roasted-peppercorn flavor with firm, velvety tannins and refreshing acidity. Drink or hold.

Still very youthful, but with so much potential. Intense and zippy on the attack, there's some wonderfully bright fruit fighting to break through the woody veil, with an orange peel halo. Beautifully balanced – but don't open this yet!
