The Domaine de Roally Viré-Clessé is an outstanding white wine from Burgundy's Maconnaise district. The wine is crisp and dry, with soft hints of honey balanced by an inviting mineral quality and bright acidity. This wine made of 100% Chardonnay satisfies both the Chardonnay drinker with its round flavor and good weight as well as those who prefer a leaner wine as being from the Maconnaise the Domaine de Roally is both clean on the palate with a nice crisp finish. This is the perfect wine to serve alongside a roasted chicken either on the grill or in the oven. It would also pair well with most any salmon or tuna recipe.
