WINEMAKER'S NOTES:

A classic Cotes de Provence rosé: dry, crisp and refreshing, full of fruit and ideal for anytime. Traditional growing methods are given priority and include ploughing to ventilate the soil and using organic farming rather than chemicals and artificial processes.

This pretty Provençal rosé is easily paired with light salads, pastas and rice dishes. It is also especially great with raw or lightly cooked shellfish, grilled fish and goats’ cheeses. Perfect hot weather drinking.

Blend: 40% Cinsault, 40% Grenache, 20% Mourvedre

TASTING NOTES:

Bright fruit and tangy acidity are hallmarks of this crisply textured wine. Freshness and acidity make the wine ready to drink. It comes in a skittle-shaped bottle, traditional but rare to see now.

COMMENTARY: The 2020 Château Montaud is bright, active, and full of attractive fruit. TASTING NOTES: This wine slides on the palate with flavors of perky red and blue fruits. A hint of savory spices pairs it well with country pâté. (Tasted: July 3, 2021, San Francisco, CA)
